Phenom FX to launch at 2.8GHz+
A few independent sources have confirmed that AMD is working hard to launch a 2.8 if not even a 3.0+ GHz Phenom FX Quad core in 2007. AMD can finally get the clocks at higher speeds than the modest 2.5 GHz, so this will finally give Intel a good reason to reconsider its roadmaps.
